Proof or Record of Purchase Required
A valid proof or record of purchase is required for all returns, exchanges, or store credit considerations.
Returns for Accessories in Packaging
To be eligible for a return, accessories must be unused, in original condition, and returned in the original packaging as provided at the time of sale.
Returns – General Conditions
Guitars Plus provides clear photographs and descriptions of all items to accurately represent condition. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to request additional photos, details, or specific angles prior to purchase.
- New products may be eligible for return within 14 days, unless otherwise stated.
- Discounted, used, vintage, and B-Stock instruments are sold “As Described” and are excluded from the 14-day return policy.
- All returns must include original packaging and all included materials, such as manuals, warranty cards, tools, accessories, and hang tags.
- Manufacturing warranties must not be registered. Items with registered warranties are not eligible for return.
- Items returned with wear, damage, modification (including added Velcro), or missing materials will be subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee or may be refused. Please pack items carefully.
Refunds
All returns are subject to inspection prior to approval.
- Refunds on new items are issued as store credit only.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to eligible new-item returns.
- Premium instruments priced at $2,500 CAD and higher are subject to a Premium Restocking Fee of 15%.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Exchanges
If you wish to exchange an item, please contact us in advance to discuss the details. Exchanges are subject to availability and approval.

Non-Refundable Items
The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange:
- Gift cards
- Setups and labour
- Consumables
- Used items (guitars, basses, amps, pedals, accessories)
- Consigned items
Shipping Policy (Related to Returns)
- Shipments are picked up in batches on Tuesdays and Fridays, subject to holidays and store closures.
- Please allow 3–4 business days for packing supplies, payment processing, and tracking information before carrier pickup.
- Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with returns.
